Hazibags are proving ideal for BAM Nuttall and Mott MacDonald in their joint venture (BMMJV) to provide flood protection for the River Aire that runs through Leeds city centre in West Yorkshire.

Hazibags have proved hugely cost effective for the storage, transportation and disposal of their hazardous waste saving BMMJV over 50% on the cost of previous disposal methods.

BMMJV is also benefiting from Hazibag UK providing one central point of contact for all hazardous waste and ensuring sites are compliant and adhering to current legislation.

Philip Billington, Site Engineer, BMMJV Limited says: “Hazibags are an easy way to safely store hazardous waste.  They are also very visible on site, helping to draw the attention of the work force using them.  The 200 litre bags have proved ideal for us with lots of small sites producing a number of different hazardous wastes.  I have recommended Hazibags to our environmental advisor for further usage”.
